Use the PhoneMe.Money mobile app to register and confirm your mobile number. Topup money into your digital wallet giving you a balance. Pay merchants, groups, or charities by scanning their QR code, using their mobile number or selecting them from a list. Payments are instant - your balance reduces and theirs increases.
Keep track of expenses with your friends using IOU's and UOMe's - a social way of keeping score that is completely free. Use their mobile number (which you already know if they are a contact of yours), and they use your mobile number (which they already know if they are a contact of yours).
Pay other users (that have registered a bank account) with actual funds, by paying their mobile number which we direct to their bank account. Other users can pay you (if you have registered a bank account) by paying your mobile number which we direct to your bank account. There is a fee of 1% for these type of payments
We do not currently allow person to person wallet payments, but are looking to provide this in the future.
Download the app, and when the app starts you will be asked to Sign Up or Sign In. As a new user choose the SignUp option and use your social media account or email and password. You then need to confirm your mobile number - we send you a verification code by SMS text message.

Yes. You can install on a tablet. You do need a valid mobile number to complete the sign up process, but you can have multiple devices for one account.
You go through a process of ending the current phone number and registering again with the new one. The account will then be active with the new number. There are notification options for telling other users that you have changed from old to new number.

They are instant.
It works the same way as when you pay someone. The transaction occurs instantly and you will get a notification that you received payment.
These are a social way of keeping track of expenses between friends and colleagues. They are not financially binding, so you do not need a balance to use them.
You have to register a bank account. Payments to you will be made to your bank account. There is a 1% fee
You use your own online banking app to make a payment to the PhoneMe.Money bank account according to instructions we provide. The payment instruction includes your own phone number and a code we provide. As soon as we see the funds arrive with the matching phone number and code, they are credited to your balance on PhoneMe.Money.
If you make a payment without including the reference number and code, there may be a delay or failure to load funds. The payment may have to be reversed which will incur costs for you.
We do not need your bank details for you to topup. We only need your bank account number if you withdraw funds, so that we can pay you or so others can pay you.
There is a menu item to withdraw funds. You can withdraw up to your balance. There is a 1% fee for withdrawing money.

Yes - all your private personal information, and document images are stored securely in an encrypted form. We do not store credit card details (we never ask for them) or passwords (we use a secure 3rd party provider)
Yes. You can download all your transactions.
You can delete them from your own view, but your transactions are shared with each of the other parties you paid to or received from. In addition your personal information for identity confirmation and transaction history must be retained for government mandated AML (Anti Money Laundering) purposes for a number of years.
Not by default, but yes under lawful mandated requests from regulatory bodies such as - <IRD and police>.
You use your own online banking software to direct debit the supplied PhoneMe.Money account, including your own phone number and a code supplied. As soon as we see the funds arrive they are credited to your balance on PhoneMe.Money.
Please select the default bank instead. We are increasing the range of banks we support for fast topup services.
We do not support other currencies at this stage.
New Zealand is a highly banked country, meaning a very high proportion of residents have bank accounts.
However there are still unbanked persons and we are looking at ways that a trusted agency can make payments to such users in PhoneMe.Money. Being paid in PhoneMe.Money is the same outcome as a topup - your balance
increases.

If you have a number of fixed price items, you can create a simple product list in PhoneMe.Money that users can browse and pick from. You can provide QR codes for individual or groups of products too.
People can also search for your business by name in the app.

A new user can make KeepTrack payments (an IOU) straight away. The club can choose to accept KeepTrack transactions from club members who are trusted, as a promise of payment in the future. The club member can settle up the KeepTrack with a standard payment once they have topped up their balance.
